Evanston Grows and the people of Evanston experiencing food insecurity need your help. It is not hard, it is free and it won’t take you very long.
From September 1-30, you can vote for the EVANSTON URBAN FARM in Evanston’s Participatory Budgeting process. Evanston has a $3M in federal funding, and you have the opportunity to directly impact how it will be spent. Evanston Grows and its partners have submitted a proposal for $350K to create a 1 acre farm, the EVANSTON URBAN FARM, which will further our mission to provide free, fresh organic produce to Evanston residents experiencing food insecurity.
