WE ARE A COLLECTIVE!
Evanston Grows is a collective impact organization dedicated to bringing together resources in the Evanston community to reduce food insecurity through increasing access to locally-grown produce and building community connections.
Founded in April 2021, Evanston Grows brings together diverse stakeholders—including non-profits, community gardens, private residences, schools, and businesses—to develop a common agenda and solutions for addressing the inequity in our community that has resulted in food injustice.
In short, the Evanston Grows collective works together to increase locally grown free fresh food to share!
OUR MISSION
Evanston Grows mission is to increase healthy food access, promote food literacy, and advance health equity by building a local fresh food system that is more just, sustainable and resilient.
