In 2025, Evanston Grows plans to donate 90% of the estimated 25,000 lbs of produce harvested to local food pantries and free farm stands. The remaining 10% will support our mission by helping to expand our paid farming staff, purchase seeds and compost, and address funding gaps not covered by our generous donors.

What is a CSA Veggie Box? A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) box is a subscription-based produce program that connects consumers directly with a local farm. Subscribers receive a weekly box filled with fresh, seasonal produce, and sometimes other farm goods like flowers. By participating in a CSA, members support Evanston Grows, reduce their carbon footprint, and gain access to high-quality, sustainably grown food while fostering a deeper connection to their food source and the farmers who grow it.
